our cute dog with the eyelashes

No comments:

today, i ate a lot of daddy's art supplies.
i didn't know graphite tasted so good!
i've also learned that when i poop under the bed,
i don't get to sleep with  mommy and daddy.
oh, i have eyelashes!
i'm scared of other dogs,
and, the other day, i got a frisbee!
i also have a new collar,
it's pink and sparkly, but i hate it.
anyways, i really like my new house with the big backyard.
i finally have grass to play on!
except the dog upstairs takes all the tennis balls.
but i'm so relieved that we're done moving.
that was a hassle!
i like sleeping on mommy's lap
now that she doesn't have school during the day
and i get lots of treats.
i love my life!

me and my hair, well, we've seen it all. {grammatical correctness can burn.}
and it's that time again.
i'm tired of my hair.
the only thing new i've done to it lately is simply put a feather in {thanks to meg, my adorable little sister}
which you can't even see half the time because it's almost always up. boo.
so i've been searching for a new look.....
here are the options.
i think i'm allowed to bi-annually ask for your advice.
and seeing as how there are at least 51 of you {holy schnikes!}
i demand that all of you reading this choose a hairstyle for me and write something about yourself, so we can officially be friends.

the "christina perri" hairstyle, with a big fancy bleach streak, like the one i had during christmas, but better.

this hairstyle of this lovely lady from one of my favorite blogs

keep this lovely hairstyle..

or something else, perhaps?
there is sort of an unwritten/unspoken law that i'm not allowed to cut my hair.
nick likes it long.
so chopping it off {although i crave those crazy shag cuts & fohawks...}
is, sadly, not an option.
at least for now.
maybe in another 3 months i'll change my mind again.
but seriously,
which hairstyle is best??

last weekend we...

remember that time....
when i was a pre-art student at the U of U?
me too.
that was yesterday.
today,
i'm an italian minor at the U of U
getting my CNA
and working towards the
Intermountain Healthcare/ SLCC Nursing Program
next fall.
i'm going to take this semester to get my CNA
spring and summer semester for my pre reqs,
and start nursing either next august or the following spring.
wow, right?
and yet, it feels so perfect.
i am perfectly, blissfully happy with my life.

i love my husband.

last night i fell apart after work.
i wanted to quit school,
i wanted to quit my job,
and i was sad because i never saw him anymore.
he pulled the car over to the side of the road
and hugged me until i stopped crying.
then he said we could get del taco burritos with green sauce,
and it was all better.
on the way home, we stopped at dan's for some milk and eggs,
and he got me oreos and mint frosted brownies.
today we slept in,
rode our bikes to class,
got some art supplies,
went back home,
he made us tacos,
and just relaxed for the rest of the day til i had work.
it was a nice change from the hustle and bustle we've been through this week.
this mrs loves her mr.
a lot.

satanic art class of the devil

4 comments:
as a pre-art student, i'm required to take this one art class to get into my major.
it's called "visual language" or something of that sort.
i hate it.
the first thing the professor said was to call her maureen,
and that a lot of things we view and talk about
will be controversial.
controversial, i'm okay with.
but this?
h* no.
she said there would be no nudity today.
she lied.
either there was a naked man,
a naked woman,
a naked baby,
artistic "parts,"
or things i won't even mention to spare you innocent minds.
it's one of those classes that i'm just going to have to grin and bare*.
geez louise.

*my dear mother kindly corrected me. thanks mom!

well, fellas,

with school, work, family...
things have just gotten a bit overwhelming, really.
as a sort of "hurrah for isreal" post, {and because everyone on the planet is doing it, i swear.}
do any of you have questions for me?
i'm a pretty honest gal,
and i don't hold back much.
if not,
that's fine.
"if i don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night."

(hi! hey! how are you? fine, you? i'm great! what's your name? my name's stephanie, i'm a student; what's yours? stephanie. i hope you are all having
just as busy as a great week like i am.
today we couldn't figure out the bus schedule
so we ended up taking the truck
parking at the VA
and walking all the way to class.
when i walked in {3 minutes late, mind you}
the professor said to me "try not to be late."
yep.

who's a big girl now??

i can't believe that 5 months have already gone by
since i got married in the temple
for time and all eternity
to the love of my existence
and my best friend.
this guy, right here,
well,
i hardly give him enough credit.
he's amazing,
and he puts up with me stealing his iphone all day
and wearing goofy bug-eye sunglasses
and being extremely moody when i'm hungry
and always making him take koda out in the mornings
and being too lazy to make food,
and hating the tv,
and being argumentative sometimes when i hate the world.
but he's my husband,
my spider killing
poop-scooping
big box moving
romantic
patient
dog loving
architect
handsomest
and most loving
king to be;
mine all mine.
here's to the best,
happiest,
hardest,
most challenging
most amazing
5 months of my life.
thanks nick.
i look forward to eons more!

we've moved!

currently in the process of some serious moving.
meantime,
take a gander at my new kitchen window.

the agenda today: move in.

No comments:
it's all surreal and happening so fast.
nick and i {and nick's friend jason}
spent the whole day packing the apartment
and moving it to our new one.
i was unpacking and organizing our kitchen gadgets,
when i realized that there was
just too much counter space
for me to know
what to do with.
i love that.
the living room is as nightmarish as it thought it would be.
our coffee table is the same dark brown as the floor as well.
so with no rug, and just dark brown {as of now}
it seems as if there is a deep abyss in our front room.
but how i'm enjoying this immensely.
i love re-organizing my belongings into neat things
i can feel superb about.
our kitchen is HUGE compared to the closet we were living in before.
and i'm happy to report that Koda absolutely adores the yard.
she hated us for making her stay inside all day while we unpacked.
we still have yet to move the large furniture {bed, table set, couch, entertainment center}
so that's our next goal.
we get pizza tonight because all of our cooking things are at the new place {score!}
but can i just say that i'm so excited?!
i am so excited.
peace!

help... mee.....

i'm FRAZZLED.
i understand that in light of the things happening in the lives of others right now, {missionaries leaving, weddings, engagements...}
this phenomenon may seem extremely miniscule in comparison.
but it's not okay.
our new apartment has real dark brown hardwood floors.
our couches are dark brown.
i don't want to buy a huge rug to put on the floor {because, well, that seems logical. so why would i do it?} because it's dang expensive.
but what do you do with dark brown floors, dark brown couches... and an infinite number of paint colors you can paint the walls?
green?!

{via}

red and orange?!
personally, i'd like to get a white couch cover, and have a tree going up to the ceiling, hanging lights and all.
i've looked at so many pictures and ideas that it's making me dizzy.
anyways.
i don't want my living room to be a black hole, that's all.
i'm going to paint the kitchen blue/turqoise with red black & white accents

{via}

or green with gray and white {unless i paint the living room blue or green. or red.}
and the bedroom partially yellow and/or gray.

{via}

i might as well redesign it all, right?
WHOO!
movin' in this week!
let the remodeling.... BEGIN!

gettin crafty on mondays.
